Washington (dbTechno) – Microsoft has launched a new ad campaign to promote the Zune, while firing a shot at the Apple iPod and iTunes at the same time.
The new 30-second ad spot features a financial planner by the name of Wes Moss.
During the commercial, Moss showcases the differences in terms of cost for filling up a Microsoft Zune vs. an iPod.
He stated that to fill up a 120GB iPod with songs that you purchase from the iTunes store, it would cost $30,000.
Microsoft counters that by stating it will only cost $15 per month for unlimited music on the Zune.
This ad aims to take a big shot at the Apple iPod while promoting how cost-effective the Zune can really be.
For those who are worried about not being able to afford music for your iPod, this shows that the Zune may actually be a strong choice.
We will have to wait and see if this ad campaign works in this cash-strapped economy we are now in.
You’re an idiot. Not only does the Zune suck ass, MP3s are free. It’s no secret! Who wants a Brown MP3 player anyway? I shit bricks better looking than that
it is a good idea to launch this product
