Without A Paddle is ready to work its way down the rapids and right into your Blu-ray player courtesy of Paramount Home Entertainment.

Paramount has released the Blu-ray disc for Without A Paddle, hoping to cash in on those looking for an enjoyable comedy that does not take too much brain-power to comprehend.

Without A Paddle follows a group of four friends who grew up as kids, but run into tragedy as they grow up as one of them unfortunately dies.

The three of them get back together as they are saddened by the loss of their childhood friend, and end up trying to finish and find what their now deceased friend was searching for.

This sends the three of them on this crazy chase that could only be re-created in the movies, and is actually done in such a way that is highly-entertaining.

The special features for this Blu-ray release are decent, but unfortunately there is not much here in terms of Blu-ray exclusive stuff.

The extras start out with an audio commentary by director Steven Brill, as well as video commentary by the cast and director.

From here, we are presented with a making-of featurette, as well as a set of deleted scenes with optional commentary.

Without A Paddle at the surface may not seem like much, but in reality it is a very well-done comedy that will surely please fans looking for a good laugh on Blu-ray.

Film: 7.8 This one will not win any awards, but it is a very entertaining comedy.

Video: 9.0
The video transfer gets the job done with strong colors and great scenes in the wilderness.

Audio: 8.0
This is a comedy so you can’t expect much, a decent audio mix.

Extras: 7.5 As for the extras, what is here is pretty strong, but more Blu-ray exclusive stuff would have been nice.

Final Score: 7.8
