WWE WrestleMania 25 will go down as one of the most memorable WWE PPV events in history, as it was a phenomenal show from top-to-bottom. That great show and much more have now come out on this 3-disc DVD release.
This year marked a momentous occasion, the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania, and WWE has made certain that they did this release justice.
For starters, the actual WrestleMania 25 event is shown here in its entirety, with great audio and video clarity.
The matches are top-notch throughout, with great moments including the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match, Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Steamboat and company, etc.
The PPY itself is a joy to go back and watch again, but the big extra here is the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, as well as past WrestleMania highlight clips.
When you watch the Hall of Fame ceremony on TV, you get a one-hour edited version. Here though instead, you get the entire ceremony, meaning you can watch all of the inductions including KoKo B. Ware, as well as the whole speech by Stone Cold Steve Austin.
This is a great addition which really makes this release worth picking up. I just wish the wrestlers were given more time to talk up on the stage during this to be honest.
The bottom line is that WWE WrestleMania 25 is a must-buy on DVD for any wrestling fan, as the show is a piece of history, as is the great Hall of Fame ceremony that goes along with it.
Content: 9.5 Hands-down the best wrestling PPV of the year.
Video: 9.0 The video transfer looks fantastic.
Audio: 9.0 Crystal clear sound effects and such, great stuff.
Extras: 9.0 Prior WrestleMania clips are a nice touch, but the real meat is the Hall of Fame ceremony.
Final Score: 9.2

cm punk beat mark henry, mvp, shelton benjamin, finlay, kofi kingston, christian and kane to win the money in the bank ladder match. Awesome match magnificent performances by mark henry for his power moves, mvp for nearly winning and getting the crowd hot, shelton as usual for the best performance in the mitb ladder match with his wicked moves, finlay for taking some hard bumps,
kofi for his athletic prowess and amazing moves in this match, christian for his cool crowd roaring moves, kane for setting things up to make a hell of a match and punk for winning along with a few good moves overall**** / colons beat miz and morrison to unify the tag titles in a fast paced match great athleticism by all 4
men and some ood lumberjack moves here, colons win***1/4 / y2j beat jimmy snuka, roddy piper and ricky steamboat in a very goos match not much at the start
but picked up with steamboat, snuka beat with the walls, piper beat with enzuiguri, and steamboat with codebreaker***1/2 / matt hardy and jeff hardy had a kickass extreme ruels match with table bumps chair shots and a ladder jump gone wrong leaving matt to put a chair around jeffs head and deliver the twist of fate***1/2 / rey mysterio beat jbl to win the ic title in a 21 second dud but thats ok because i wasnt keen on seeing this match NR / undertaker beat shawn micheals in hands down takers best match at wrestlemania and hands down the best match at wrestlemania 25 tombstones, chin music, last ride, elbow drop, dives out to the ring, chokeslams and so much more this match spanning
30 minutes long this match is breath taking from start to finish****3/4 / santina won the 25 diva battle royal* / john cena beat edge and big show to win the world title this match is ok wasnt expecting mauch but surprisingly an enteratining match witch saw a jaw dropping match*** / triple h beat randy orton to win the wwe title surprisingly hhh won. this match wasnt what it cracked out to be but was still watchable**1/2 / overall very good event had its down falls but had more
