With Xbox 360, Project Natal, Microsoft Looks To KO Nintendo

At E3 2009, Microsoft made it very clear that with their new video game platform Project Natal, your body is the controller.

This is an extremely interesting concept that has been teased for years.

The idea is that there are no external controllers, nothing

All you do is stand in front if your TV, and you are the controller, with no wires or anything of that nature attached.

What we are taking about is true 1:1 recognition, full motion-sensing for every game.

This can consist of running for a pass in Madden NFL, swinging a bat in an MLB game, etc.

Project Natal is the Microsoft answer to the Nintendo Wii, and it has certainly garnered a great deal of buzz.

This could end up being, in the long-run, the single biggest revolution in the history of video games.

The big question is how this is all going to work with full-blown games, think the next Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Gears of War, etc.

Microsoft has proven time and time again though that they know video games, and with the combination of the Xbox 360, and now Project Natal, they could have the juice to knockout the NIntendo WIi.
