Release: June 23, 2009

Paramount Home Entertainment has launched 3 more Friday the 13th flicks in Deluxe Edition DVD releases, including Friday the 13th Part VI Jason Lives.

I do not fully understand by Tommy just can’t leave Jason alone. These two have gone toe to toe so many times it is ridiculous.

Anyways, Tommy Jarvis is once again haunted by the idea that Jason may be able to come back and get him.

In order to stop this, he decides to dig up the corpse of Jason and cremate him.

Well guess what happens, Jason lives and he is out for blood.

Friday the 13th Part VI is a lot of fun, and fans of the franchise will enjoy it, but how many times can these two go head to head?

The extras on here start out with a commentray track by director Tom McLoughlin, as well as some of the cast and crew.

There are also continuations of other featurettes from past deluxe edition DVD releases, including part 6 of Lost Tales from Camp Blood, as well as part 3 of The Crystal Lake Massacres Revisited.

Some deleted scenes, the theatrical trailer, and a making-of featurette are included as well.

Friday the 13th Part VI is entertaining and the extras included are actually a lot of fun to check out, worth picking up for collectors.

Film: 5.5 Talk about milking a franchise, sheesh.

Video: 8.0

Audio: 8.0

Extras: 8.0 Extras are very enjoyable, good continuations.

Final Score: 7.0
