WWE Summerslam The Complete Anthology Volume 3 & 4
DVD Review
WWE Home Video
WWE Home Video is back at it again with the release of volume 3 and volume 4 of the WWE Summerslam Anthology on DVD.
Summerslam is right up there as one of the top pay-per-view events that the WWE puts on year in and year out, as the event has been going on for years now, nearly as long as the grand daddy of them all WrestleMania.
With that said, WWE Home Video has put out volume 3 and 4 to follow-up the first two volumes which we reviewed a few months back
.
There is not a lot of flair to these releases, but what you do get is a great collection PPV events that would make for a nice addition to any wrestling collection.
The two releases cover more of the recent years with volume 3 going from 1998 through 2005, while volume 4 does 2003 through 2007.
Volume 3 showcases some of the matches from the attitude era, with Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, The Rock, and others taking center stage.
Volume 4 focuses more on the more recent matches with John Cena and company leading the way.
As a pair these two collections are great to pick up and are priced right as you can get each 5-disc set for under $50.
This is a nice option for people who do not want to have to buy the whole 20-disc set which can carry a high price tag.
Overall, WWE Home Video has hit another home run with these two releases, as these are must-buys for any wrestling fan’s collection.
