Michael Jackson’s This Is It Tops US Billboard Album Chart

Boston (DbTechNo) - This Is It, the new album from the late Michael Jackson has landed atop the US music chart selling more than 373,000 copies in its first week.

This marks the 6th time that a Jackson album has topped the Billboard music chart, following his Number Ones compilation released in June.

This Is It, the title track of the album, will not be made available for download, therefore it will not vy for top single on the chart.

Jackson’s “HIStory,” which sold more than 391,000 copies in its first week of release back in 1995 was the last time that album sales for a single week were as high.

This Is It, the movie is also doing well in theatres, grossing an estimated $34 million so far.
