Released: October 2009

I was a bit surprised to see that Batista had his own DVD release this early in his career, but being a fan, I was optimistic at the same time, hopeful Batista I Walk Alone would be something I could truly appreciate.

Batista has had a very successful and accomplished career, even though it is still in its infancy.

He has blossomed into one of the top stars in the WWE, and this 3-disc DVD set showcases exactly why.

This DVD release features a 90-minute documentary, as well as a series of fantastic matches featuring The Animal.

The documentary basically talks about the life and career of Batista. I always enjoy these as they really allow you to get in touch and relate more to the superstars. The WWE has done a very good job here with this release as the documentary covers a lot about his life, in and out of the ring.

Once you get past the documentary, there are also a series of matches included, such as his first singles match against John Cena at Summerslam 2008.

From there, we also get his PPV debut, his WrestleMania 21 match, and much more.

I was a bit bummed with the number of matches included here, as I felt like there are just a lot more matches that we could have had included.

If you are a Batista fan, there is a lot to be had here, including a fun Ohio Valley Wrestling match to check out from back in the year 2001. The documentary is the real highlight here, as it is great to get to learn more about The Animal, as we look forward to many more great matches in the years to come. Fans should definitely pick this one up.
