Howard Stern Could Be American Idol Judge
February 7, 2010

Boston (DbTechNo) - The next season of American Idol could feature none other than Howard Stern.
The radio talkshow host is being courted by Idol executives who would love for him to replace outgoing judge Simon Cowell.
Cowell is in his final year on the popular reality television show, and plans to move to X-factor in 2011 with the rival Fox network.
“They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants,” said a source.
Another source implies that Stern would not be a fan of travelling the country for auditions, or spending the majority of the year in LA.
“Howard isn’t ready to leave radio and would like to stay on at Sirius,” the source says. “We believe this is a ploy to make Sirius pay up and keep him on his huge contract.”
Would you tune in and watch Idol if Stern were to become a judge?
