Chris Golightly Disqualified From American Idol Competition

Boston (DbTechNo) – After making it through to the top 24, American Idol contestant Chris Golightly has been disqualified from competition.

No clear reason has been given by Fox as of yet for the DQ but many wonder if he had a previous deal in place with a record label.

He has been replaced by cast off Tim Urban who will have a second chance to prove that he is the next American Idol.

“It has been determined that Chris Golightly is ineligible to continue in the competition,” a press release from FOX says. “American Idol contestant Tim Urban has replaced Golightly as part of the Top 24.”

Golightly, only 19 years of age is from Texas.
