FlashForward has quickly become known as one of the hot new shows of the year from ABC, with the first ten episodes being released on DVD for the first time in part one, season one.

FlashForward is the latest ABC drama that was adapted from the 1999 novel of the same name by Robert J. Sawyer, and has one very cool premise to say the least.

Basically, in the pilot episode, the world blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, the entire world, everyone in it.

During this time, people had visons of these disasters which were to come in the future.

What these people now know is that what they saw during the blackout was not a dream, but was reality.

FlashForward features a great cast with some extremely cool stories, and this is one show you simply do not want to miss.

If you missed out on the first half of season one, here is your chance to catch up!

The audio and video quality on the DVD release are top-notch per usual from ABC, with them being featured in 1.78:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Digital 5.1.

As for the extras, you get a special look ahead into the future episodes, as well as a look at the big blackout and its effects.

As stated, FlashForward Part One Season One is well-worth picking up on DVD as it is a great chance to catch up on one of the best new shows of the year!
