Corey Haim was “Tormented Soul” Says Best Friend Corey Feldman

Lost Boys actor Corey Haim was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Wednesday morning, where he died a short time later.

He was found by his mother, who said that he collapsed while trying to get out of bed and was rushed to Providence St Joseph Medical Center.

Initial reports are saying that Haim died from a drug overdose, but this has not been confirmed as of yet.

According to his friend and fellow actor Corey Feldman, Haim was a “tormented soul”, leading many to wonder if his death was an accident or intentional.

“This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend,” he said in a statement.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Haim had been experiencing flu-like symptoms leading up to his death.

Throughout his life, Haim did battle drug addiction and did at one point in his life enter into a rehab facility.
