Kate Winslet Filing for Divorce from Hubby Sam Mendes

It is being reported that Kate Winslet has split from her husband, Sam Mendes.

The pair have been married for the last 7 years, and according to a friend of the actress Kate simply feels bored.

Ironically enough, the pair worked together on a movie 2 years ago, featuring a couple that end up breaking up.

According to the same friend, Kate believes that that movie put a lot of stress on their marriage, and she regretted making it.

“They’ve been pretty much living separate lives since the end of the summer,” the friend said. “They realized some time ago that they were not a good fit. They were more like brother and sister.”

The pair have a young son together named Joe, and a child from Kate’s first marriage to director Jim Threapleton.
