Paula Abdul in Talks to Revive Star Search

Boston (DbTechNo) – There is a very good chance that we could be seeing Paula Abdul back on the big screen sooner rather than later.

The former American Idol judge is in talks with ABC to bring Star Search back to life, thus providing a rival for Fox’s American Idol.

Abdul left Idol at the end of last year’s season because of a dispute over her contract.

Many artists got their first big break after debuting on Star Search, including; Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

The program ran from 1983 to 1995, and was hosted back in the day by Ed McMahon.
