Bret Michaels Is Improving Daily, Says Sister Michelle

The sister of Bret Michaels has stated that her brother is doing much better only a week after being diagnosed with a major brain hemorrhage.

Bret, 47, was rushed to an undisclosed hospital late last Thursday complaining of a severe headache and doctors were quick to diagnose the massive bleed at the base of his brain stem.

Since then many questions have been asked about his health, with few reports to back up rumors that he was going down hill, and that a full recovery was unlikely.

According to sister Michelle, not only is Bret’s speech improving, “Things are definitely looking up. … He sounded good — as good as you can when your brain’s throbbing.”

“He’s doing good,” she said. “He’s not by any means out of the woods, but he is getting better every day.”

Michaels remains in an intensive care unit while he continues to recover.
