Disney has come out with a fantastic collection of international films on DVD for U.S. fans with their Studio Ghibli Collection. These films include My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, as well as Castle In The Sky.

The stories features in these films are fantastic as a whole as these truly are special movies, it is great to see Disney finally give them the proper Blu-ray treatment.

These films were all animated by one of the best in the world, Hayao Miyazaki, and they are absolutely beautiful films to watch in motion.

My only complaint is that Disney did not go ahead and release these on Blu-ray along with Ponyo.

The three films are a blast to watch as they are presented not only with English tracks, but also with all of the international language tracks for viewers to enjoy.

The video and audio quality of these releases are also fantastic considering the age of the films.

It is a true testament to the quality of the animation when it can stand the test of time and still look absolutely beautiful when compared with more recent animated films.

The three movies look tremendous with vibrant colors, amazing detail, and fluid animations.

The audio is also very impressive, as stated you get all of the international language tracks here included alongw ith the English track.

In terms of the extras, all three movies come in a very nice-looking slip-sleeve cover.

On top of that, you get some nice extras including an introduction by John Lasseter, as well as a look into The World of Ghibli, looking at each film in its own right.

I would have liked to see a bit more from the extras but the included storyboards are also a nice addition.

The three films in this collection are each worth owning in their own right as fans of animation are in for a real treat here.
