Bret Michaels, Casey James Perform Duet At American Idol Finale

Rocker Bret Michaels made a surprise appearance during the American Idol Finale last night.

The 47 year old has had a heck of a time of late, battling health problems ranging from a mini stroke and a hole in his heart to a very severe brain hemorrhage.

Despite battling his health, the rocker looked good last night, and even participated in a duet singing “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” with “Idol” finalist Casey James.

This week alone he has already made an appearance on Celebrity Apprentice, “Today” and the Oprah Winfrey Show but did not tell his doctors he was going to be at the Idol finale.

For now, Michaels’ tour is going ahead as planned with the first stop this Friday in Mississippi.
