Forbes Names Oprah Winfrey Most Powerful Person

Celebrity talkshow host Oprah Winfrey has been named the most powerful person in the world by Forbes Magazine.

The annual top 100 list features some other big names also, including Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Johnny Depp and more.

The ranking was determined by a number of key factors, including estimated income for the year, and media exposure including newspaper and internet coverage.

Oprah fell from the top spot a year ago thanks to a strong year by actress Angelina Jolie, but this year reclaimed the top spot after raking in more than 330 million dollars.

Other key names to make it into the top 10 include: Britney Spears at number 6, U2 at number 7 and Madonna at number 10.

Last year’s queen at the top, Angelina Jolie slipped badly this time around, coming in at number 18.
