The iHome releases have been coming fast and furious lately as the company is clearly stepping up its game with some great new hardware for the iPod as well as the iPhone owners out there. This latest release may have topped them all though for those who want to get the most out of their music, the iHome iP49 packs quite a punch and is certainly worth checking out!

The iHome iP49 is the latest release in the Studio Series from iHome, which focuses more on style and audio quality than the rest of the hardware releases from the company.

This is an absolutely fantastic audio experience that comes packed with Bongiovi Acoustics and can certainly go head-to-head with any portable stereo I have heard, only this one doesn’t pack the huge price tag ($160)!

The whole design of the iP49 is what really makes its stand out. The way in which it works allows for you to easily fold it up and take it with you anywhere, making it extremely portable.

Once you get where you need to go, simply lift up the stereo and you are back in business ready to go. The way in which the system works is that when you have it plugged in, you will be charging up the rechargeable battery that is built into this little bad boy. That way when you want to take it with you to the beach, on your boat, etc. you have the ability to do that with no power necessary.

You get the complete package here as well with the included rechargeable battery, AC adapter, remote control, as well as all the little adapters to make whatever iPod or iPhone you have fit nicely.

The device could act as an alarm clock as well as it does have a clock built into it, but this one is more about the sound quality than most other releases, and it certainly packs a punch, with great range, nice use of bass, and incredible clarity. Still, for those looking to use it as an alarm clock, it has all of the bells and whistles of any other iHome alarm clock radio.

iHome has a lot of value packed into this little package here, and that is really the bottom line. You are going to be hard-pressed to find an audio solution for your iPod or iPhone that packs this many features with this fantastic sound quality at this price point. The iHome iP49 delivers and is a nice addition to the Studio Series of iHome releases, recommended for those looking to get a great audio experience from their iPod or iPhone!
