Beetlejuice Actor Glenn Shadix Dead At 58

It is being reported that actor Glenn Shadix has died at the age of 58.

Shadix, most noted for his role in Beetlejuice died at his home in Birmingham when he fell out of his wheelchair and struck his head.

His sister, Susan Gagne said that he had been using a wheelchair to get around for quite some time.

Throughout his lengthy career, Shadix appeared in more than 30 films and even did one of the voices in the animated feature “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

Back in 2008 he talked about why Beetlejuice was such a special movie: “We had so much fun filming,” he said, “that I had a feeling something very special was happening.”

Shadix was born on April 15, 1952, and in addition to his sister he is survived by his mother.
