Juliette Lewis Survives Car Accident

Actress Juliette Lewis has been injured in a car accident in California.

The incident took place in Burbank when the car that she was a passenger in was struck by another vehicle which ran a red light.

Lewis was returning from an event to promote her upcoming movie entitled Conviction at the time of the hit and run.

Police are looking for the driver of the other vehicle, who did not stick around to make sure that people were okay.

“Ms. Lewis went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged up and sore but otherwise thankfully okay. She is now resting at home,” her representative said in a statement.
