Lady Gaga Voices Fears Of Dying Like Princess Diana
Lady Gaga, the new age mega pop star who is famous for producing a lot of hit songs, is currently writing a song about the tragic death of the beloved Princess Diana — voicing fears of suffering a similar death.
She played a piano version of the song for a select few.
A source close to the 25-year-old singer said she views herself as the pop version of the British Royal, who lived in the eye of the public and died at the age of 36.
“Gaga has always been absolutely fixated on Diana and sees herself as a 21st-century incarnation of her. She knows she is almost as recognizable as Diana and is hounded by photographers and fans on the same level. Gaga has had dreams about dying the same way as her and has genuine fears that her fame could literally kill her, either in a chase or at the hands of crazies,” a source said.
The 2009 hit song Paparazzi, produced by Lady Gaga, also stemmed from Princess Diana’s death, with the well-spoken singer dubbing the Princess as a martyr for fame.
Lady Gaga previously expressed her admiration and obsession for the charity work and fashion sense that Princess Diana put forth.
“Gaga has always been fixated on Princess Diana and viewed herself as the 21st-century incarnation of her,” said the source.
