So maybe it is true that Jim Morrison has been living in hiding all these years with Elvis. Or maybe not.

The Doors will release a reissue of the L.A. Woman album, in honor of it’s 40th anniversary. Along with extended play songs and different versions of hits like “Riders of the Storm” and “Love Her Madly”, a new never before released song will be included on the album.

The new song, “She Smells So Nice”, was discovered by producer Bruce Botnick while going through the albums session tapes preparing for the reissue. It reportedly sounds like a blues infused jam session. You can’t hear Morrison’s vocals all that well, which is why it was probably skipped over in the first place.

Jim Morrison, the leader of the 60′s band, died in 1971 in Paris, France. In 1973 the remaining Doors members broke the band up, but did embark on a few other projects.
