Jimmie Fallon’s Tebowie A Match Made In Heaven (VIDEO)

Jimmy Fallon channeled David Bowie, or was it Tim Tebow? Actually it was both. It was Tebowie. Using the melody of David Bowie’s classic Space Oddity, Fallon made the lyrics fit so he too can get in on the Tebow phenomenon.

In face paint similar to Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie’s alter-ego responsible for Space Oddity, Tebowie also wore Tim Tebow’s uniform as he sang. Fallon’s song begins, “Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ”.

Jesus Christ responds, just as Ground Control did in the original, but Jesus Christ asks Tebow why he can’t leave him alone because Sunday is his day of rest and he’s tired of watching Bronco games.

At the end of the song Tebowie tells the audience that everyone should Tebow, and as the lights dimmed, he kneeled in the classic Tebow pose that has become a phenomenon in its own right.
