Actor Mel Gibson who was arrested in 2006 for drunk driving, has had troubling establishing his career after his remarks to a Jewish L.A. county deputy.
Now the arresting officer has been granted a trial,Thursday for his anti-semantic rant in a 2006 arrest, were he claims he was treated differently due to Mel Gibson’s star status.
The actor has had troubles since his arrest and apparent preferential treatment by L. A. deputies.
Mee, the arresting offer, has claimed that his superiors ordered some of his report removed after the arrest in 2006.
Mee, also claims that he did not receive six or seven posts after complaining of the celebrities preferential treatment.
The judge in the trial has expressed doubts in Mee claims of being treated differently because of his religion, it is more likely do to the celebrity of Mel Gibson and the star’s preferential treatment.
The trial is scheduled to start in February of this year.

Mel Gibson On Trial
Any political/racial/religious views you spout to a police officer should be irrelevant anyway. There was no need for the officer to report it in the first place. The officer should simply determine whether Gibson broke the law by driving drunk. There is no law against being an idiot, and it’s not relevant. All that said, Gibson made a TON of money off of the religious rubes for his “passion” movie and could have easily afforded a DRIVER. Gibson is a staggering hypocrite. He is no Tim Tebow, that’s for sure.
You people are vicious. What happened to forgiveness ? Look how fast everyone forgot about Michael Vicks killing and torturing dogs for pleasure an was welcomed back with open arms ,among countless others.. This society has some really twisted principles .
Well he was drunk, why did his comments have to be public anyway. He should have just been prosecuted for drunk driving and disorderly conduct. Drunks say all kinds of stupid things. It’s still freedom of speech isnt it, even for idiots? Now because of that we havent had any great Mel Gibson movies for years. Mee should be sued for our loss of being entertained. Than again, the hate filled profanity laced tirade at his gf over the phone was going to kill his career later anyway! Mel why do you have to be so stupid?
All people in life have lifes problems. No one is exempt. It”s just unfortunate
that in todays “computer run world”,nothing seems to be personal and/or private, and especially in the so called NEWS of the “entertainment” world. So much so that greed (which seems to dictate everything)to often gets a chance to raise it’s ugly head. The “NEWS” trends today seem to focus more on Negative Reporting rather than Positive. I think that”s a shame,as it doesn”t tend to help people at all with what should be their personal and private life.
