X Factor Finalist Astro Bradley Signs Record Deal

Brian ‘Astro’ Bradley, finalist on the X Factor, has announced that he has signed a deal with Epic Records.

The 15-year-old hiphop star joins winner Melanie Amaro and fellow X Factor finalists Chris Rene and Marcus Canty at the label run by L. A. Reid.

Reid, the chairman and CEO of Epic Records and a judge on X Factor, was Astro’s mentor on the show.

Appearing on MTV’s Rap Fix Live to discuss the deal, Astro expressed confidence in his relationship with Reid. “I’m real close to LA and the first time he met me, he told me I could do TV shows.

He believed in me and that’s what I respect most about him. He’s responsible for a lot of stars in the game today, so the fact that I have a man like him helping me with my career means a lot.”
