Chelsea Handler In Back Brace After Wild Night Of Drinking

Chelsea Handler revealed to Live! With Kelly hostess Kelly Ripa that was wearing a back brace during her recent appearance on the show.

The After Lately host opened up about the back brace after she and Ripa embraced on stage during the episode. Handler told Ripa that a wild night of drinking and dancing had caused her to seek medical treatment for her back. Ripa made the assumption that what she felt beneath Handler’s clothes, during the embrace, was a bullet proof vest.

“Not to be funny, but I’m actually wearing a back brace,” Handler explained, before commenting briefly on her night out.

Handler admitted that she was being temporarily treated with steroids, in addition to the back brace.

The final episode of After Lately aired on January 29th.
