Cheryl Cole has announced that she will be one of many to perform before the Queen at next month’s Diamond Jubilee concert.

The Girls Aloud star has spent much of the last year working on her third studio album, A Million Lights. The lead single, “Call My Name” was revealed on April 20. Cole is reportedly to perform the song live on “The Voice” this weekend, her first live performance in more than a year. Fans and viewers alike are wondering if her appearance on the series will be similar to a particular “X Factor” performance that is said to have been “largely mimed.”

It is rumored that she will perform a duet with Gary Barlow at the concert.

The Queen has celebrated more than six decades on the throne. She took the seat in 1952 and marked her coronation the following year. The Diamond Jubilee will run from June 2 through June 5.
