Jack Osbourne Diagnosed with MS
Former Reality star and son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Jack Osbourne revealed in his interview with People Magazine that he has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Like everyone else dealt with the blow of an incurable illness, Jack said he was frustrated and angry.
“While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry,” he said.
“Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realised, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point – if anything it’s only going to make it worse. “‘Adapt and overcome’ is my new motto.”
He and his fiancé recently welcomed their daughter, Pearl Clementine, into the world on April 24.
Multiple Sclerosis attacks the nervous system, both the brain and spinal cord. It causes problems from mild to severe that affect muscle control, vision, balance, cognitive function and emotions.
Jack Osbourne rose to fame during the reality show “The Osbournes” which followed the life of the Grandfather of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne and his family.
During Jack’s teenage years he had begun a downward spiral into drugs and heavy drinking.
Of his own accord, he admitted himself into an adolescent drug rehab and has been clean ever since.
