Tony Robbins Fire Walk Goes Horribly Wrong

Tony Robbins: 21 Injured in San Jose Motivational Fire Walk

Tony Robbins is well known for many things, mostly for helping people up on their feet, but not for getting peoples’ feet burned.

A recent seminar Robbins held in San Jose, California, highlighted an inspirational firewalk event for volunteers only.

Unfortunately what began as a much anticipated event turned out to be a foot roast for 21 unmotivated volunteers who attempted the firewalk under Robbins’ close supervision.

The title of the seminar “Unleash the Power Within” showcased walking on hot coals to be viewed as a metaphor to help those trusting in Robbins’ motivational program to overcome difficulties.

Unfortunately the opposite happened!

Fortunately for Tony though, all those who received burns on their feet were volunteers and he won’t be held liable for any injuries.

Robbins Research International said in a statement, “We have been safely providing this experience for more than three decades, and always under the supervision of medical personnel … We continue to work with local fire and emergency personnel to ensure this event is always done in the safest way possible.”
