22-year-old Helen Flanagan, former star of the popular British soap opera “Coronation Street”, is having one doozy of year. Earlier this year, she had the trust she shared with her long-time boyfriend shattered when she discovered racy texts he was communicating to another woman.
Also, her home was burglarized, but to make matters worse her personal cell phone was stolen in the process. The phone contains sexy pictures of Flanagan which were only intended to be for personal use. Flanagan is known for enjoying taking pictures of herself and who’s to blame. The young woman epitomizes the term “eye candy”.
Regardless, the pictures of her were intended for personal use and the thought of them appearing online for the world to ogle is mortifying to her. Some of the pictures feature her bare breasts.
The phone also contains intimate texts to her ex-beau Scott Sinclair. Some find it odd that Flanagan, who lost thousands of pounds worth of jewelry and valuables in the home invasion, is more concerned about the photographs. However, such concerns are more rooted in ignorance about the damage digital media can do to a person. Insurance can replace valuables, but it’s not easy to repair a reputation.
Do you think the former Corry star is really upset the photos were “stolen”?
