Baron Davis is standing by his alien abduction claim made while on The Champs podcast. Or maybe he isn’t. Or maybe he is!
The former New York Knicks basketball player said he was abducted while driving to Los Angeles from Las Vegas approximately two weeks ago. Davis claims he saw a bright light he thought could be a truck. The next thing he knew he was in a “steel thing.” The aliens, described as “half-human, half-like f—— ugly mother——” were poking his nose, he told the hosts on The Champs. According to Huffington Post Sports, there was no “just kidding” attached to the story’s end.
Neal Brennan and Moshe Kasher, The Champs podcast hosts, tried to press Davis to admit it was all a joke. He stuck by his guns. Completely serious, Davis insisted to the interview’s very end he was abducted by aliens somewhere outside Las Vegas and ended up around Montebello, California. Where, of course, he pulled off the freeway to grab some In-N-Out.
However, today on Twitter Davis seems exasperated and admits it’s all a joke and “[g]et over it people.” There was no “just kidding” after that one, either, so which story should be believed?
