BO’s hit series Game of Thrones has a lot of wonderful and compelling actors. It is no surprise that the show’s to-be King Renly, Gethin Anthony, is now being cast into the new series called Aquarius, reports Radar Online.
Who is Gethin Anthony?
Gethin Anthony is a 30 year old English actor who currently plays the role of King Renly in Game of Thrones. He is a highly experienced actor and has participated in many interesting shows across a wide spectrum. These shows include such series as Holby City and Doctors and Call the Midwife. He has impressive credentials as well. Anthony has a concentration in the area of English literature from Oxford University as well as training from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His polished acting skills, experience, and analytical knowledge gained from literary studies allow Anthony to function as a versatile, realistic, and enthralling character.
What is Aquarius? Who are the main players and what can we expect from the new series?
Aquarius is a new, not yet aired series that will debut late this year or next year. It has already received the okay for 13 episodes by NBC. The series is written by John McNamara and will include actors such as Grey Damon, Emma Dumont, and the X-Files star David Duchovny. Besides McNamara, Marty Adelstein – the director of prison break – will also be involved in executive production of the show.

Aquarius is set in 1967 and follows the investigative efforts of criminal activity surrounding a cult and criminal leader. The criminal leader, Charles Manson, will be portrayed by Gethin Anthony: making him the main antagonist of the series. The investigation into Manson’s cultish activities and hunting of young, vulnerable women will be headed by Hodiak. Hodiak is portrayed by Duchovny.
