Actor David Hasselhoff has revealed he has broken a bone in his back during a beach stunt with a dune buggy.
The 62-year-old was riding the quad when he took a leap over a sand dune and injured his spine.
“So I’m flying through the air. It crashed down. I broke a vertebra,” he told the Daily Mail.
But a broken back isn’t a huge problem for the Hoff. After telling the reporter of his injury he jumped off his chair to re-enact the dune buggy crash he suffered it in.
The former Baywatch star did not say when or where the accident happened or if he will need surgery.
Meanwhile, Julien’s Auctions is putting the KITT car from the 1980s Hasselhoff series “Knight Rider” up for sale, as part of an auction that will take place June 26 and 27.
The T-Top TransAm, which boasts a keyless ignition system, along with studio-created instruments, controls and monitors, is estimated to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000.
