minnie driver flub: Actress Flubs National Anthem

Minnie Driver sang the wrong words to the American national anthem at an L.A. Dodgers baseball game this weekend.

The British actress swapped the word “watched” for “hailed” while singing the anthem.

“Whose broad stripes and bright stars, though the perilous fight, o’er the ramparts we hailed, were so gallantly streaming,” she sang. The lyrics actually read, “o’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming.”

“What can I say? I am an imperfect human being,” she later tweeted. “I think that’s OK.”
