Late night talk show hos Jimmy Fallon is out of commission after injuring his hand and forcing NBC to cancel Friday’s taping of the The Tonight Show.
It’s not clear how the 40-year-old hurt himself, but the The Tonight Show assured fans that the comedian is “totally fine”.
Hey guys – unfortunately tonight's taping has been cancelled due to Jimmy injuring his hand. He's totally fine but we'll be airing a repeat.

A rep for the show said that Fallon is expected to make a full recovery, but was “required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning,” according to a statement published in The Hollywood Reporter.”
It appears that Fallon’s injury must have happened sometime late Thursday.
Fans posted pictures of the 40-year-old comedian on Instagram after he was spotted dining out at a New York City restaurant.
Fallon will have some time to recover since The Tonight Show was scheduled to be on hiatus for the next two weeks anyway.
Benicio Del Toro, Taylor Kitsch and Penn & Teller had been Friday’s scheduled guests.
