Rita Wilson is ‘Cancer Free’
After being forced to take medical leave from Broadway’s
Fish in the Dark earlier this year for breast cancer treatment, Rita Wilson has good news to report. “I am cancer free. I’m one hundred percent healthy,” the actress, who is married to Tom Hanks, told People.
Wilson has got a busy 2016 ahead, including a February engagement at New York’s Café Carlyle. “I want to show people that you can have cancer, and you can still be out there doing what you love to do, and it’s not a death sentence like it used to be.”
I am overwhelmed with gratitude by your prayers and good wishes and the kindness you're sending. Thank you. Thank you.

In May, Wilson opened up to The New York Times about her breast-cancer battle, which she says was an emotional journey that strengthened her relationship with her husband, fellow actor Tom Hanks. “Who knew it would make you even closer?” Wilson told the newspaper. “You never know how your spouse is going to react in a situation like this. I was so amazed, so blown away by the care my husband gave me. It was such a normal, intimate time.”
We all here at DbTechno wish Wilson continued good health and look forward to welcoming her back to a Big Apple stage soon!
