But when you find yourself with someone that you really can see yourself with, like, you know it. I knew in the first two weeks that we were going to be together for a long time. Love kind of takes over and you start talking about the future. So yeah, it’s definitely something that I want. I don’t see all of this fame – or whatever it is – kind of affecting how I feel toward AJ.”

Although the rumors have not been confirmed or denied, however, some are saying that the ring on her finger is indeed from McCarron but it is in fact a Valentine’s Day gift he gave her earlier this year. So, are they engaged? Hopefully we’ll find out soon.

The former beauty queen, who sky-rocketed to fame during the BCS National Championship game as the ridiculously good looking girlfriend of quarterback A.J. McCarron, sparked controversy on last week when she revealed that she only consumes a measly 1,120 calories a day in her eating diary, which she explains as being about “self control.”

Webb told People that she keeps her 5’11″ figure lean by keeping a strict diet of 1,120 calories made up of three meals and two snacks. She intersperses cardio and weight training at least three times each week.

“It’s all about self control,” Webb said. She also avoids bread and sugar. After long modeling shoots, though, Webb allows herself a cheat or two: “I usually go for all-American buffalo wings and French fries.”

“I try my hardest not to even consider getting something like pasta,” she tells People magazine. “It’s all about self-control.”

“I cut out any type of bread product, and cake, cookies, bagels. When I eat a lot of sugar, I tend to bloat more,” she adds.

54 Loaded Guns At Airports This Week: TSA Say That’s A New Record

TSA Reports 54 Loaded Guns Seized at US Airports Last Week

The Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) has reported that this past week they retrieved 65 guns at airports across the country with 54 of the firearms being loaded.

One of the more inconspicuous finds was a sidearm strapped to the prosthetic leg of a passenger at Salt Lake City International (SLA) airport.

The man in that incident was arrested and charged with violation of Utah State gun laws. The news is all the more relevant given that this is the Memorial Day three-day weekend and one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

It is estimated that over 2.3 million people will take to the skies over the United States to enjoy a weekend of fun that for many includes water-based activities and cookouts.

The TSA writes on it’s blog:

“Unfortunately these sorts of occurrences are all too frequent which is why we talk about these finds. Sure, it’s great to share the things that our officers are finding, but at the same time, each time we find a dangerous item, the throughput is slowed down and a passenger that likely had no ill intent ends up with a citation or in some cases is even arrested.” The passenger can face a penalty as high as $7,500.00. This is a friendly reminder to please leave these items at home. Just because we find a prohibited item on an individual does not mean they had bad intentions, that’s for the law enforcement officer to decide. In many cases, people simply forgot they had these items.”

NBC News notes that Just this month, the TSA announced that it had retrieved 25 firearms at airports with 21 of them loaded. So the most recent data points to a spike in passengers attempting to carry firearms with them on their flights.

In many cases, the TSA confiscates the weapon from the passenger but allows them to resume their travel plans. Arrest or detainment is invoked if the TSA suspects the passenger is engaged in terrorism or a violent threat of some sort.

It is legal to carry some weapons on airplanes, provided they are in checked luggage and unloaded and secured in hard-sided, locked containers.

Tiger Kills Zoo Worker at UK Animal Park

The details surrounding the incident are still unclear, and an investigation is ongoing. Initial reports indicate that the young woman’s death may have been due to “human or technical factors.”

Park owner, David Gill, has stated that there was no explanation, nor reason, why McClay decided to enter the tiger’s enclosure. “She was a very experienced worker, and had a great deal of knowledge pertaining to these animals,” he said.

Though it is unknown why McClay decided to enter the exhibit, her indomitable spirit and attitude will be remembered among co-workers, friends, and family. The male tiger, who is ten years old and has resided at the park since birth, will not be destroyed. “He was just following natural instincts,” said Gill. “We don’t fault him for what occurred.”

“The tiger is securely locked in its enclosure and there is no further risk to the public. Members of the public were not at any risk. The wildlife park has closed early and all visitors have left the park,” a spokesperson with the park told The Guardian.

Not The First Big Cat Attack This Year

In March, a 26-year-old female intern was mauled to death by a lion while working at a private wild park located in central California. Dale Anderson, the Zoo owner revealed that the incidence happened on Wednesday when the victim was in the lion’s enclosure. He also clarified that a thorough investigation would be conducted because the zoo took all measures to ensure all the guests, animals and people working in the zoo are safe.

“She was at ease with those big cats,” Paul Hanson, a Seattle-area attorney, said of his daughter, Dianna Hanson, 24. “They liked her.”

Hanson told The Associated Press that he dropped his daughter off Jan. 2 at Cat Haven, about 45 miles east of Fresno.

A 24-year-old woman has died after she was attacked by a tiger inside an enclosure at a zoo in Cumbria.

Jumper Kills 5-Year-Old, Lands On Top Of Her After Suicide Attemp

A 5-year-old South Korean girl was killed when a man who jumped from his 11th floor apartment and landed on top of her, police said, according to reports Friday.

The horrific incident took place Wednesday in Busan, a port city in the southern part of the country.

Fox News reports:

A police official said the 39-year-old man died immediately after he jumped Wednesday from the 11th floor of the building in the southeastern port city of Busan. The girl died later from brain damage and broken bones.

The official who spoke Friday declined to be named because the case is still under investigation.

The official says it’s unclear why the man jumped. He says witnesses saw the man jumping but there was no suicide note.

South Korea has one of the highest suicide rates among economically advanced countries. Seoul-based Arirang News reported late last year, the percentage of South Koreans who take their own lives is 2.6 times higher than the average suicide rate among the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, an association of wealthy, industrialized nations.

South Korea, which has a population of 49 million.

Not the first time a Pedestrian was killed by a suicide jumper

In 2009, a woman who committed suicide by jumping out of an eighth floor window killed a pedestrian who was walking along the street below, according to Spanish police.

The 45-year-old woman died instantly in the fall while the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries in hospital following the incident on Monday in the town of Viladecans, a suburb of Barcelona, a police spokesman said.

Another pedestrian who was with the 50-year-old man escaped unhurt.

Spanish media said the pedestrian was of Ukrainian origin, but the police spokesman described him as a Spanish national.

Moore appears to look stunning, but one can only imagine the pain she was actually in. Her pinky toes were hanging out of the shoes completely, while the rest of them were barely fitting under the straps. Although her feet may have been in complete agony, she never had anything but a smile to show for the camera. However uncomfortable it may have been for her she was able to walk the entire length of the carpet without assistance from anyone.

The medical condition is known as prosopagnosia and causes difficulty when trying to recognize faces. Brad Pitt first broke this story to Esquire, and he explained he cannot remember people by just their face.

Pitt told the magazine, “”So many people hate me because they think I’m disrespecting them.” For Brad Pitt, it does not matter if he had a heart-to-heart with the person because he still will have difficulty recognizing them. Pitt has tried different ways of trying to recognize a face and asking them questions to try to remember.

Brad Pitt assumes that individuals do not believe he suffers from the medical condition, and rather they presume he is just egotistical. Brad Pitt often offends people when he does not recognize them, so they believe this could just be an excuse for his rudeness.

Brad Pitt has not been tested for this condition, but Carnegie Mellon University has offered to have Pitt’s brain analyzed. Carnegie Mellon University is one of the few places that performs test for as prosopagnosia. They have the equipment that can analyze brain images and recognize signs of prosopagnosia.

“Carnegie Mellon is one of the very few places that can both test for face blindness and perform the brain imaging in our state-of-the-art imaging center,” said Behrmann, professor of psychology within CMU’s Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

“Faces are among the most compelling visual stimulation that we encounter, and recognizing faces taxes our visual perception system to the hilt,” Behrmann said. “Carnegie Mellon has a longstanding history for embracing a full-system account of the brain. We have the computational tools and technology to push further into looking past one single brain region. Face blindness is an intriguing neurological disorder, and we have already turned up a few clues as to what causes this problem. If Mr. Pitt would be willing, we would be honored to image his brain for diagnostic purposes.”

Recently, Behrmann and her team of researchers identified the brain’s system – an entire network of cortical areas that work together – that is responsible for face recognition. The findings, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), transformed neural visual perception research because they give scientists a focal point to develop targeted remedies for disorders such as face blindness.

“Faces are among the most compelling visual stimulation that we encounter, and recognizing faces taxes our visual perception system to the hilt,” Behrmann said. “Carnegie Mellon has a longstanding history for embracing a full-system account of the brain. We have the computational tools and technology to push further into looking past one single brain region. Face blindness is an intriguing neurological disorder, and we have already turned up a few clues as to what causes this problem. If Mr. Pitt would be willing, we would be honored to image his brain for diagnostic purposes.”

Carnegie Mellon is a world leader in the brain and behavioral sciences. To build on its foundation of research excellence in psychology, neuroscience and computational science, CMU has recently launched a Brain, Mind and Learning initiative to enhance the university’s ability to innovate in both the laboratory and in the world.

Police arrested Bynes this week and charged her with several counts including evidence tampering and drug possession. The first photos that were released revealed Bynes with long platinum blonde hair.

The official bynes mug shot proved that the former star was wearing a wig and cops demanded it be removed so her real face and profile could go on record. The mugshot shows an unhappy, angry woman with a cropped hairdo. No Hollywood makeup artists or airbrushing can change this picture. She appears to be at least 10-20 years older than her real age of 27.

According to the charges the troubled star tossed a bong from her apartment window when police arrived. A search of the sidewalk did not yield any drug paraphernalia, but in NY a bong would surely be snatched up as soon as it hit the ground. One can only wonder what an onlooker must have thought while watching a bong suddenly appear from the sky.

Fans of hers are hoping that this latest incident might lead to the much needed psychiatric intervention that the actress has been needing ever since her descent into trouble over the past year. Bynes has had trouble over a DUI incident, hit-and-run, and obvious drug use.

It seems that almost weekly the actress is trying to garner positive attention for herself while being seemingly oblivious to how she feeds the very tabloid stories she disdains. Bynes has refused to acknowledge any need for help, but hopefully this incident will be able to change that.

You might remember that Bynes announced in 2010, in her twitter account that she was retiring from showbiz. This might be an early symptom of the depression that caused her present personal troubles.

April 4, 2012: Bynes is arrested for DUI. The 26-year-old actress is reportedly pulled over around 3 a.m. in West Hollywood after trying to pass a police car in her BMW and side-swiping the vehicle. Bynes allegedly refuses to take a Breathalyzer or drug test at the scene of the accident and is taken into custody. She is released from jail at 10:30 a.m. Her bail had been set at $5,000.

Smith herself is black from the West Indies and was dismissed from her teaching position in a New York City school after a student complained that she used the word “negro” directed to a student. Smith has not been able to find other work since losing her job back in March 2012. At age 65, employment is not easy to find for many people.

Smith has hired an attorney because she believes she was treated unfairly and that she never used the word in such a context. Bolstering her claim is that in Spanish the word “negro” is a color for black and that a black person is called “moreno”.

“They haven’t even accounted for how absurd it is for someone who’s black to be using a racial slur to a student,” Shaun Reid, Smith’s attorney, told the New York Post. “Talk about context! There’s a lot of things wrong here.

In all fairness though, the word “negro” can be used as a very sharp euphemism for a black person much as the N-word is used in English.

According to the Post, racism in schools is becoming an increasing problem:

The issue of racism surrounding the firing of other teachers has made headlines before. Last February, a Minneapolis teacher was put on paid leave after he was accused of discriminating against five black students in his class, according to WCCO. He was accused of making them sit in the back of the room because “it is easier for him to teach rich white folks than poor black people,” and telling them things like, “you will never amount to anything” and “you only have one parent.”

The following month a teacher was fired from a Washington, D.C., charter school for writing violent and racist math problems for students to solve, WUSA reported. One such problem involved a tiger catching African Americans and Native Americans, and cooking them in ovens.

A spokeswoman for the city Law Department said, “We have received the papers and will review them.”

Most recently, journalist James Rosen of Fox News became a Justice Department co-conspirator in their investigation covering a leak of sensitive documents due to an investigative report he had done on North Korea. Tantaros informed listeners of what life is like for any journalist that is willing to report on news the Obama administration finds unflattering.

She chronicled some of the conditions as being spied on such as through wiretaps, being stalked, and in the case of one Missouri radio host who discussed the IRS abuses: fired.

Tantaros described these conditions as similar to what was experienced in the Soviet Union and then asked viewers to do her a favor and punch Obama voters in the “kisser”.

“Let me tell you how people and journalists are being treated these days,” she said. “They are being stalked. They are being spied on. In Missouri, a news station fired an anchor who talked about the IRS shakedown. Yeah—fired. This is how corrupt the left is.”

She added, “This is what’s happening to our press. This is Obama’s America. It’s like the Soviet Union. He said he would change the country. He said it … and a lot of people voted for him. And if you see any of those people today, do me a favor and punch them in the face.”

Fox News President Roger Ailes has recently condemned the Obama administration’s targeting of James Rosen and publicly stated his support for the embattled journalist. In related news, the IRS has admitted to targeting conservative groups like the Tea Party for politically motivated harassment.

Everyone is still unclear on the dating status of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, but in a recent reveal from US Weekly, Jaden Smith is currently in a relationship with Kim Kardashian’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner.

While the on-again, off-again relationship officially ended back in January, the tumultuous couple were seen making-out at the Billboard Music Awards in May. Selena Gomez’s friend, pop star Taylor Swift, was less than excited about the smooch. Taylor was caught on camera sticking her tongue out when she say the two with their lips locked.

Gomez and Bieber have reunited many times since their public parting in January. The future of the young famous couple appears to still be in the making.
