It is not easy to find a headset for the iPhone without breaking the bank. The headphones that come packaged with the Apple iPhone are far from impressive, and a headset usually does not include quality headphones along with it. NewerTechn has come out worth a new product, called the Hands-Free Mic & Earbuds for the iPhone. They may come at a low price, but they are still quite impressive.

This is a very inexpensive hands-free talk solution for the iPhone.

The product has some nice little features which have to be mentioned. They have a very well-placed On/Off switch, allowing you to quickly pause music, answer calls, etc. Also, as soon as your call is done it will resume playing the music.

The headphones themselves also are built well and are very comfortable resting in your ears. My only slight complaint about the design of the earbuds is the fact that they are not built for physical activity. This is because that they do tend to slip out of your ears if you try to go running with them or anything of that nature. If you are just using them for driving and stuff though, they are very comfortable.

The performance of the product from NewerTech was something which I did question going into the review, mainly due to the low $20 price tag they come with. I have to admit though I was pleasantly surprised.

These are some quality earbuds included here at this price point. They put forth some very clear audio, with the biggest issue I had with them was that they had a little trouble delivering a really impact-full bass sound. In terms of clarity with treble and mid-levels they sounded solid.

The same can be said about the performance with phone calls. I never had any issue with anyone not being able to hear me clearly, with the same being said about me hearing phone calls through the earbuds. The mic can easily clip onto the top of your shirt so that it is simple to keep it close to your mouth at all times. Even in outdoors with wind, it managed to pick up my voice very clearly.

I was very impressed with the Hands-Free Mic & Earbuds from NewerTech. If you are looking for an inexpensive hands-free solution for your iPhone, and want to improve upon the headphones given to you from Apple, this is a safe buy! For under $20, you can’t do much better!
