Sling Media Working To Bring Your TV To iPhone
June 9, 2008
Boston (dbTechno) - Sling Media, the makers of the Internet-streaming device called the Slingbox have announced that they are working on developing a client for the iPhone. This client, Slingplayer Mobile, would allow Slingbox owners to stream video from their TV to the iPhone.
SlingPlayer Mobile has apparently been in development for quiet some time now and could be made available to consumers very shortly.
The Slingbox works by allowing people to watch and completely control their TV over the Internet, changing channels, accessing DVD players, etc.
Sling Media has apparently been testing the waters with the iPhone SDK and is nearing an official release for the iPhone.
