Ubisoft and Fox Deal For Avatar and Heroes
February 12, 2007
Boston (dBTechno) - Ubisoft is very clsoe to nailing deals for two of the biggest sci-fi properties in Hollywood with Avatar and Heroes.
The French publisher Ubisoft stated that they are going to be making a videogame based on the James Cameron 3D movie Avatar as they have struck a deal with Fox already for that game.
Ubisoft also has another deal in the works with NBC Universal. This deal will allow them to produce a videogame around the hottest new show on television this past season, Heroes.
Heroes could make for a great videogame due to the super-hero characters and storylines.
NBC and Ubisoft both declined comment on the possible Heroes deal.
Both the Avatar game and film will be out in May 2009.
