Turbo CD Games Headed To Wii Virtual Console
September 18, 2007
Boston (dbTechno) - Nintendo and Hudson have made an announcement that TurboGrafx CD games which include Super CD games will hit the Nintendo Wii and its Virtual Console starting this October.
In Japan this October five games will be released all selling for around 800 Wii Points or about $8 each.
The five games will all be released before the end of the year with 10 more games in 2008. There has not been any announcement as of yet as to when these games are going to delivered to the U.S. market as this is for Japan only.
The other big question is that with the Wii’s 512mb storage capacity, how many CD-ROM games can be stored since a CD itself holds around 700mb.
The U.S. releases of TurboGrafx CD games could be before the year is out along with a new storage solution for the Wii.
