October 9, 2007
Washington (dbTechno) - Microsoft has announced and confirmed that the Xbox 360 will be getting some extra value going into the holiday season as the Xbox 360 will have Forza Motorsport 2 as well as Marvel Ultimate Alliance as free pack-in games.
Microsoft has the two games listed at a $90 value and they will be completely free pack-ins with the Xbox 360. Whether you purchase the Xbox 360 Elite at $449.99, or the Xbox 360 Premium at $349.99, you will receive the two free games.
On the other hand though the two free games are not going to be included in the limited edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 which is at retail now for $399.99.
News sources are also stating that even though it has not been fully confirmed, Microsoft is getting ready to launch a brand new Xbox 360 Core console named the Xbox 360 Arcade. The new $279.99 console will ship with an Xbox Live Arcade disc with 5 games loaded on it and will also feature a packed-in 256mb memory card and HDMI out. Confirmation of that is expected to be coming within the next week or so.
