MySpace To Tackle Casual Gaming Market

Boston (dbTechno) - MySpace has announced a partnership with the games company Oberon Media to add a collection of casual games to the world’s largest social networking site as MySpace Games is getting ready to launch.

MySpace has annoucned that MySpace Games will launch in early 2008 thanks to a partnership between the two companies. MySpace Games is going to allow users of the online community to choose from hundreds of casual games to play with friends in the community.

“Bringing entertainment in the form of fun, social, casual games will enhance our user experience,” said Amit Kapur, VP of Business Development for MySpace.

“Our goal is to provide our members with an easy way to play with their friends and give them with additional ways to interact.”

MySpace users are going to be allowed to add games to their profile pages and challenge friends right from MySpace to play them in multi-player games.
