Reggie Fils-Aime stated that the new service is going to allow Nintendo DS owners to download full games as well as demos from the Nintendo Wii. The other big news about all of this is that there will also be added content for certain games as well.

More news in regards to this exciting announcement is surely going to come soon.

As of this point there is no word if the download service is going to be heading to the UK, nor is there any word on pricing for the full DS games from the Wii console. The likely scenario is that they may be a bit cheaper than the retail store pricing.

Reggie stated games “will be able to be downloaded into the Wii using its broadband connection, and then transferred wirelessly to the DS.”
