PS3 Owners Getting More Porn On Blu-ray

Boston (dbTechno) - It seems that the porn industry loves the Blu-ray format. The major adult movie studio Digital Playground has announced that they will be releasing 8 brand new adult movies on Blu-ray in February.

A representative for the studio, Digital Playground, stated that PS3 owners came out in large numbers and requested that they release more movies on the Blu-ray format. The past release the company had put out on Blu-ray had sold far better than they could have ever predicted, so it seems that PS3 owners and Blu-ray fans are quite interested in these adult porn movies.

The company previously supported the HD DVD format and was not even going to release anything on Blu-ray due to Sony not allowing it. That has all changed though as it seems that they are now choosing the Blu-ray format over the HD DVD format.

The adult film company stated “A lot of people were emailing that bought a PlayStation (PS3) and they were basically saying, “When are you guys going to release Blu-ray?” They really have no preference in format yet because it’s so new. When it comes down to image quality, there is no difference between the two.”

They will continue to support HD DVD and Blu-ray, but it is Blu-ray that is getting the majority of the adult films right now.
