Nintendo Has No Plans To Increase Wii Production
January 29, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - According to reports, Nintendo has absolutely no plans to increase Wii production for this financial year, even though the world’s best-selling console is still extremely difficult to find at retail across the globe.
Jinyou Mori, Senior Managing Director of Nintendo of Japan has come out and stated that Nintendo will maintain their monthly Wii production rates at the current level.
They stated that for the rest of the financial year, this is the rate of production they will continue at.
The financial year ends on March 31, 2008.
Following this it is unknown at this point if Nintendo is going to increase the production of the Nintendo Wii console, which continues to sell very well and be extremely hard to find at retail locations.
