Call of Duty 4 Named Game of the Year At Awards Show

Boston (dbTechno) - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was named Overall Game of the Year at the 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards Show. The game released back in November 2007 on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
The 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards Show was held in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday night.

Activision Confirms New Call of Duty, Guitar Hero

Washington (dbTechno) - Activision has confirmed the release of many new games including Call of Duty 5, two new Guitar Hero games, a new video game to go along with the latest James Bond film, as well as a new Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. This all came during their record-breaking financial report.
Activision has some big announcements to make yesterday as they revealed that they had some record-breaking financial results.

PS3 Cell CPU Shrinks, Cheaper PS3 Slim On The Way?

Washington (dbTechno) - According to reports, IBM plans to shrink the PS3 Cell CPU as they will no longer be manufacturing the 65nm processors, instead they will shrink them to 45nm processors. This will likely reduce production costs which will lead to another PS3 price drop and possibly the PS3 Slim which has been rumored.
The Cell CPU is the chip which powers the next-gen Sony PS3.
The introduction of the 45nm CPU was pretty much expected and has been expected for months. It was more of a matter of when than if it would happen. Read more

Tokyo (dbTechno) - In what can be classified as some of the most ridiculous products of the year, two new products have hit Japan, which, to clarify, have nothing to do with the Wii or Xbox 360 in any way. The SeXbox Core System and Wiin Remote has released in Japan to retailers. Think i’m joking? Check out the pictures to prove it.

Microsoft Says GTA IV Will Be Superior On Xbox 360

Boston (dbTechno) - The corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios, Shane Kim, has come out and stated that Grand Theft Auto IV will be better on the Xbox 360 than the PS3. He stated that the Xbox 360 version will “own” the launch of GTA IV.
Kim stated that the exclusive content coming to the Xbox 360 version is going to make it the ultimate experience for GTA IV. Read more
Train Riders In Japan Get Free Nintendo DS Rentals

Tokyo (dbTechno) - Those who ride the train in Japan may have a much more enjoyable ride soon thanks to the Nintendo DS. Riders on the Shinkansen bullet train between Hiroshima and Tokyo will be able to rent free Nintendo DS games to try out.
Nintendo will be running the free DS rental campaign from February 14 to March 28 on 20 Nintendo DS systems each day. Read more
Sega Superstars Tennis Not Online On Wii

Washington (dbTechno) - It has been revealed that Sega Superstars Tennis, in development for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, will feature no online play for the Nintendo Wii version.
It seems that Sega Superstars Tennis is not going to take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in any such way as it is the only version of the game that will not feature online play. Read more
