Riders on the Shinkansen bullet train between Hiroshima and Tokyo will be able to rent free Nintendo DS games to try out.

Nintendo will be running the free DS rental campaign from February 14 to March 28 on 20 Nintendo DS systems each day.

Nintendo is trying to go against the grain on this one as video game rentals are non-esistant in Japan.

The Shimbum rail firm though is kicking off the Nozomi X DS Campaign.

The hope is that riders will choose this rail system over taking different transport such as an airplane.

Those who take part in the DS rentals on the train will be able to select two games from a total of eight.

The games will be able to be kept for a three-day period.
