Final Fantasy XIII Delayed On PS3 Until 2010

Boston (dbTechno) - According to reports out of Japan, it is looking like Square Enix may be giving the PS3 exclusive Final Fantasy XIII a hefty delay. Sources are stating that FFXIII could see a delay, pushing the game back to spring 2010.
The reports coming out of Japan come from the Japanese stock news as it has been predicted that Final Fantasy XIII will be released on the PS3 in March of 2010.
The analysts predicted that the stock value of Square Enix will likely drop because of the delay, as Final Fantasy XIII was originally slated to be released in late 2008 / early 2009.
The stock of Square Enix, according to the analyst, will jump back up again once they release Dragon Quest XI.
This will not please PS3 and Final Fantasy fans though as it is looking like Final Fantasy XIII is getting a hefty delay.
We will await confirmation from Square Enix before anything is confirmed, as we must stress that this comes from an analyst, and not the actual publisher or developer.

Actually, I may not. If they push this back to 2010, I’ll do my best to make sure every friend of mine who owns PS3’s forgo this. This is ridiculous, push the game back 2 years from the original launch date. Screw that. Not like PS3 owners haven’t been waiting patiently for their games to be launched. Sounds like SE’s just giving PS3 owners the finger so that they can make more money on the Wii. So, whatever, let them produce games on the Wii, I probably won’t be getting this though.

I won’t be getting it either, I don’t like all things japanese so SE actually has to work to impress me. The only FFs I like much are 12 and tactics and this new one looks so far like nothing that would hold my interest anyway so by the sounds of it by the time it comes out I’ll have completely forgotten about it. God of War I’ll wait for, this not so much.

I do remember Gran tourismo being delayed on the ps2 for 2 years, and hell yeah I bought it!! A great game is a great game, and if this turns into a masterpiece of Da Vinci greatness, (syntax may be dumb!) I will get a bivvy and a small stove to keep me through the cold nights outside wal-mart! And also, maybe, a pen to sign away my soul. (I keep my brothers soul as spare, for such occasions.)
I could wait I guess. FFXIII was having some problems due to their Square Enix’s White Engine. Also, Square Enix wants to pretty much make the best game on the PS3 possible so I’d say we should give them the time. After all, it took them 4-5 years to create FFXII for PS2. LOL and the funny thing is that they were thinking of creating FFXIII for the PS2 originally. Oh well, I’ll be enjoying MGS 4 while they work hard to create it. They shouldn’t start relaxing though, because this honestly disappointed some major FF fans out there. At least we have FFVII: Crisis Core to munch on on our PSPs. So let’s see, PS3 owners are down to MGS 4, LittleBigPlanet, Home, Killzone 2, Gran Tursimo 5, Resistance 2: Rise of Man, and God of War 3. I’m sure that’s ok.
Ever since Square had to merge with Enix I have not enjoyed its path as a company.. its nothing like it used to be without Sakaguchi and Uematsu on the production team.. maybe I should have gotten a 360 for Mistwalkers blue dragon and lost odyssey.. if I were SE I would try to bring back sakaguchi and uematsu for a remake of final fantasy VII on the PS3.. that would sell the hardware
Oh well, gues I’ll get rid of my ps3 and games. I got ps3 because of FFXIII, they can forget about saling the games 2 years from now. It’ll be out of date, FF fans really excited to get it this year. SE really care about not loyal fans than fuck SE. I know I won’t buy shit on wii or console, wii is for kids SE. You better release FFXIII this september or you’ll see your loyal fans fade away for blue dragon on xbox, I know I am. I’ll wait for a confirmation than I’ll decide it, Blue Dragon I come for u. Even FFXIII come xbox, I still not gonna buy it. Deay til 2010, mind of not making it at all. Close your damn company and make games for kids only on wii sorry ass SE.
